A large variety of sheet music for print, books, recording equipment, and repair tools are on hand to make sure we can get you everything you need to get the most from your lesson.
Check out the videos above to see what you can expect at your first lesson as well as some helpful tips to get you off on the right foot.
How much do lessons cost?
Lessons are $42/half hour. Pay for the month and any lessons you don't use, with at least 24 hr notice, are credited to the next month. Cash, check, Paypal, or Venmo are accepted.
What if I forget where I left my keys, my horse ran away, dog ate my homework, or...and I miss my lesson?
Unfortunately, I do have to charge for lessons missed without a 24 hr notice. This policy doesn't apply to illness. I appreciate you not sharing your germs and we'll try and find a makeup sometime that week.
Do I have to learn to read music?
No, there are times when it certainly helps but I'd rather you learn 10 songs you can have a blast playing than struggle with the same book for 6 months - and dread sitting down to play. There is a ton to learn from any song or style.
How much do I need to practice?
As much as you can but a little is ok. The more you play the better you'll get but I've had students have great results with 15-30 mins a day. I wrote a blog post about just that. Click tips and links up top if you'd like to read more.
